"The amount of time between an update request and it being processed is ridiculously long. I needed to change the address of my renter’s policy per my move. After waiting more than two weeks for this to be processed and being told it’s with the underwriters and being charged by my new property for not having the correct address on my renters policy, I just cancelled my policies with State Farm and got a new policy with my correct address under a different provider. I’m still getting cancellation notice emails and payment emails for coverage after my cancellation date at the end of June for policies I cancelled at the beginning of May. I would not recommend if customer service and timelines is important to you. You are just another data point to them and not an individual."
